6.What brought you to the University of Sydney? (Only in Japanese)
1969年、高校３年生の時に、シドニー大学科学財団が主催する「高校生のための国際科学学校（＊）」に参加する機会を得ました。オーストラリアとニュージーランドの高校生約130名に、米国10名、英国5名、日本5名を加えた夏の学校で、この年のテーマは「今日と明日の原子力（Nuclear Energy Today and Tomorrow）」でした。
＊「高校生のための国際科学学校」について
各国で選抜された高校生を、シドニー大学内物理学財団が夏休みの2週間に渡って開催する「高校生のための国際科学学校」に派遣する奨学金プログラム。最新の科学知識に関する講義を受けたり、他国から参加する高校生との交流を深めたりすることを目的にしています。
